He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Murphy and Mary E. Murphy (Curley). He is survived by: his wife Ethel B. Murphy (Perry); his children, James K. Murphy (Ann) of Burlington, Robert B. Murphy (Gayle) of Boxford, John D. Murphy of Newton, Maureen L Love (John) of Abingdon, MD and Pamela J. Murphy of Melrose; his grandchildren, Danny, Jeanne, Jessica, Rebecca, Shannon, Brian, Michael, Nicole and Kerby; and his sisters, Dorothy Yost and Lorraine Varney. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
