He was predeceased by: his father John Wayne Coombs. He is survived by: his mother Faith Noreen Coombs (Gardner) of Westport; his daughter Lynn Broeckers (Christoph) of Herne, Germany; his stepson Kevin Wesseler (Alexa) of Greensburg; his siblings, Jaylin Ann Coombs of Medora, Jeffrey Wayne Coombs (Rhonda) and Jerry Dale Coombs (Kim) of Shelbyville; and his stepgrandchildren, Zoe Capper of California and Brian Hryb of Westport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Decatur County Animal Shelter through the funeral home.
