We bid farewell to Edward Angus Walburn of Ellenton, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 25, 2024 at the age of 97. Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Walburn and Marie Walburn (Hansen); his wife Viola Bond (Charlotte Hejl); his sister Mary Lou Fielstra; his brother-in-law Art Fielstra; his niece Patti Rose; and his friend Bob Eisenlohr.
He is survived by: his friend Pat Eisenlohr; his sons, Kenneth Walburn (Kay Walburn) of Bear Lake and Michael Walburn of Montana; his niece Peggy Jarman of Bradenton, FL; his nephew Tom Rose of Traverse City, MI; his stepchildren, Candace Bond of Grand Rapids, MI, Julie Keillor (Tim) of Lithia, FL, Robert Bond (Marcia) of Bear Lake, MI and Brenda Bond of Indian Land, SC; his siblings-in-law, Larry Keillor of Bear Lake, MI and Judith Johnson of Comstock Park, MI; and his grandchildren, Dylan Walburn, Tim Walburn, James Bond (Michelle), Wesley Bond (Laura), Amy Keillor, Andy Keillor (Linda) and Tim Keillor (Heather). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Woods Hall.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Salvation Army, Manatee Meals on Wheels, Tidewell Hospice, or the American Diabetes Association.
