He is survived by: his wife Elinor Frances Brown Frey (EB); his children, Donn Jr. (Marsha), Kris (Christine), Tim (Brigid), Eric (Mary Jo), Ted (Jeannette) and Mary (Larry Halweg); and his aunt Ann Frey. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
