She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Walker and Annie Walker; and her husband Lloyd Harter. She is survived by: her friend Mike Landers; her daughters, Gina McCartney, Carrie Lee (Bruce), Jody Treani (Scott) and Rosalee Helmer; her grandchildren, Micky James McCartney, Yahna Rose Helmer and Gwendolyn Helmer; and also Diane Porter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dolores's memory may be made to the American Kidney Foundation and the Humane Society of Manatee County.
