She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger L. Hammond and Eileen Hammond; her husband Chess Grogan; and her stepdaughter Sissy Grogan. She is survived by: her siblings, Roger D. (Claire Hammond) of Roanoke, VA, Manda Fortney, Myron Hammond of Edgewater and Deirdre (Dana Williamson) of Vienna, VA; her stepdaughter Meggan (Chris Word); and her pet Lilly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
