It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jean Povlock of Edgewater, Florida, born in Salamanca, New York, who passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Povlock (Kalamanka) and Phillip Povlock; her son Thomas; and her brothers, James Povlock (Marilyn), Thomas Povlock and Jack Povlock.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Barbone Golde (John), Patricia Barbone and John Barbone (Ann Marie); her grandchildren, Melanie Durant (Gill), Mary Anyon, William Anyon, Jacob Golde (Nikhila), Evan Golde and Isabella Barbone; her great grandchildren, Holden, Stella, Sibley, Cadence, Kiley and Colton; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Povlock and James Larson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
It was Mary Jean's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the Salvation Army or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
