She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Tumblin and Wilson Herring; her son Leonard Herring (Sheila); and her brothers, James Tumblin (Karen) and Kenneth Douglass (Sarah).
She is survived by: her daughter Almateen Herring; and her siblings, Wilbert Cooper (Viola), Nathalie Tumblin and Sheila Branch. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
