He was predeceased by: his wife Joy A. Joyce; his parents, Herman Rodman Joyce and Thelma Francis Joyce (Perrigo); and his siblings, David M. Joyce and Patti Helms.
He is survived by: his sister Lynne Stevens; his children, James R. Joyce (Kortney), Kristi Wells (Steve), Jackie Selman (Matt), Melanie Miller (Ted), Suzanne Salley (David), Sandi Kimball (Randy), Wendy Cochran and Roxanne Hadden (Ronnie); and also Chrysta Binkley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
