He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alton Dean, Eileen Dean, Arnold Haddock and Lura Haddock; and his stepfather Jack.
He is survived by: his parents, Helen Haddock McMath of Palatka and Donald Lamar Dean of Lawtey; his stepmother Brenda Dean of Lawtey; his stepdaughter Holly Elizabeth Bencun of Madison, AL; his brothers, Lamar Dean (Christa) of Middleburg and Patrick Aaron "Pat" Dean (Dawn) of Kenansville; his mother-in-law Mike Tubbs; and also, Lydia Tubbs of East Palatka, Leon Tubbs and Amy Tubbs of Sebring. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
