We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Lucy H. Hudson of East Palatka, Florida, born in Gainesville, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert T. Hargrave and Effie Rolfs Hargrave; her former husband Robert E. "Bob" Hudson; her husband William M. "Bill" Thomas; her brothers, Robert Hargrave and John Hargrave; and her grandsons, Joel Hurst and Nathan Hurst.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Hudson (Linda) of Tallahassee, Julie Rivers (Robert) of Athens and Becky Fehrenkamp (Greg) of Palm Coast; her stepdaughter Jane Thomas Crawford (Cary) of Palatka; her sister Effie Kirby of LaCrosse; her grandchildren, Amanda Chapman (Paul), Christopher Rivers, Mitch Rivers (Jenny), Bobby Fehrenkamp (Melissa), Michael Fehrenkamp, Sloan Crawford and Connor DeAndrea-Lazarus (Ian); and her great grandchildren, Branson Hurst, Aubrey Morris, Noah Chapman, Carson Chapman, Finnley Chapman, Isaiah Rivers, Samuel Rivers, Amos Rivers, Riley Fehrenkamp, Alex Fehrenkamp, Abby Fehrenkamp, Miles DeAndrea-Lazarus and Leo DeAndrea-Lazarus. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her church family.
Due to concerns with the spread of the Covid 19 virus, services and burial will be private for the family at this time.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be sent to St. James United Methodist Church, 400 Reid St., Palatka, FL 32177 or to a charity of choice.
