He was predeceased by: his former wife Lisa Starling Oglesby Ricks; his wife Debbie Oglesby; and his parents, Eugene Oglesby and Maggie Oglesby. He is survived by: his children, Donya Hatfield (Nate) of Cosby, TN, Sammy Roy Oglesby (Leann) of Cosby, TN, Donald Jay Oglesby (Crystal) of Newport, TN and Jason Royce Oglesby (Shaina Wigg) of East Palatka; his siblings, Orn Oglesby of Georgetown, Joe Oglesby (Sharon) of Deltona, Henry Oglesby (Shirley) of Georgetown, Lewis Oglesby of Georgetown, Shirley Ann Goodwin (Ricky) of Enterprise, FL and Barbara Ellen Carter of Enterprise, FL; and his grandchildren, Amber Ricks (John Crowe), Daniel Ricks (Kaylee), Jasmine Flores (Emmanuel), Ashlee Ann Zepp (Josh), Cayla Williamson (Greg), Brittany Ledford (Chris), Isaac Oglesby, Isaiah Oglesby, Noah Oglesby, Lynnix Oglesby, Lyric Oglesby, Royce Oglesby and Rayne Oglesby. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
