Carter (Gail) of Elkton, Nancy Lands (Weldon) of East Palatka and James "Bubba" Carter of Oglethorp, GA; his grandson Charles Daniel "Bud" Carter (Julie); and his great grandchild Clay Carter. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
