She was predeceased by: her former husband Dr. Lorace M. Cothron, Sr.; her son Lorace M. Cothron, Jr.; and her brother Jimmie E. Sullivan. She is survived by: her husband Gene Jackson; her son Thomas; her daughter-in-law Susie Cothron; her daughter Lori A.; her son-in-law Greg Lane; her siblings, Marvin D. (Kathryn Sullivan), Kenny (Yvonne Sullivan), Virginia Glass and Jackie; her siblings-in-law, Dalton Whigham and Marion Sullivan; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Tyrer, Cassandra Rae D'Auteuil, Matthew Cothron, Rebekah Adkison, Courtney Krahl, Will Cothron, Sarah Cothron, Forrest Krazit, Chase Lane and Mackenzie Lane. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Masters Funeral Home - Palatka Chapel (3015 Crill Ave, Palatka, FL 32177). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Inactive - Midway Baptist Church (3407 SE County Rd 405, Mayo, FL 32066).
