She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shannon and Dorothy Shannon; and her sister Betty Jo Brazzeal. She is survived by: her husband Kurt Steele; her sons, Kurt D. Steele of East Palatka and Timothy Steele Sr. of East Palatka; her sisters, Dorothy Louise Busby (James) of Palatka and Georgie Waters of Satsuma; her grandchildren, Vidalia of East Palatka, Chance of East Palatka and Timothy Steele Jr. of East Palatka; and her great grandchild Arielle Jones of Palatka. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
