He is survived by: his daughter Jennie Lynette of Florida; his grandchildren, Jason Ross of Florida, Armoni Ruiz of Florida and Trinity Ruiz of Florida; his siblings, Robert Murphy (Darlene) of St. Petersburg, FL, Harold Murphy of Atlanta, GA, Tommie Murphy (Brenda) of Dunnellon, FL, Winston Murphy (Shirley) of Gainesville, FL, Sadie Young of Dunnellon, FL, Lucille Oliver of Dunnellon, FL and Vanessa Watts (Willie) of Dunnellon, FL; his sister-in-law Delores Murphy of Dunnellon, FL; and his close friends, Coley Burns, Daryl Burns, Curtis Black Sr. (Pokie), Johnnie Jones, Ron, Eddie Baker and Leslie Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
