He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Sampson and Mary Viola Winegard (Baucom); his wife Sharon Winegard (Whitsett); his children, Richard Winegard, Cindy Price Dow, Debi Hernandez (Ruben) and Sharon Longshore (Blake); and his sisters, Helen Winegard Albritton, Charlotte Mann (Raymond) and Irene Childress (Harold). He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marion County Hospice.
