He is survived by: his significant other Jeannette Lefrancois; his children, Rob Whalen, Alyssa Cabrera and Suzanne Whalen; his siblings, Glenn Whalen, Donald Whalen, Ronnie Whalen, Pat Whalen, Gwenyth Manger, Ronnie Wolf, Lorraine Reichard and Jean Holt (Tom); his grandchildren, Vincent Cabrera and Dominic Cabrera; his mother Frances Whalen (Skippon); and his niece Bridgette Wolf Weiss. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Donations are welcome at any Alzheimer research organization and to Hospice of Marion County.
