He was predeceased by: his siblings, Zennie Belle Spiegelberg, Mamie Era Richards, Clara Florence Smith, John Willis Markham and Lewis Markham.

He is survived by: his siblings, Henry Walter Markham (Etta), Olive Mae Risher of Inglis, FL and Myrtice Nevina Phillips. He is also survived by eighteen nephews and thirteen nieces.
