She is survived by: her child Reggie; her grandchildren, Resty, Rafael and Gabriel Ruiz; her siblings, Francisco, Edarlina, Edicio and Raymundo Mallavo; and her children, Restituto Ruiz, Jr., Donna Ruiz-Minotto, MD (Paul), Renard Ruiz, MD (Grace) and Rex Ruiz, MD (Rebecca).
