It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Sue Champion Lumpkin (Dunnellon, Florida), born in Fairmount, Georgia, who passed away on July 16, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph, Sr. Champion and Floy Champion (Davenport); and her siblings, William Champion (Wylene), Paul Champion (Virginia), Max Champion, Ed Champion, Hazel Champion Miller (Elmo) and Louise Champion Hunt (Sam).
She is survived by: her nephews, Mark Miller (Luanne) of Vidalia and Doug Miller (Julie) of Derring, Georgia; her brothers, Billy Champion (late Jackie) of Fairmount, Von Champion (Marcelle) of Fairmount, Jack Champion (Gail) of Fairmount and Joe Champion, Jr. of Fairmount; her sister-in-law Betty Champion of Fairmount; and her close friends, Joann, Earl Otting, Tildon W. Smith, Mark, Richard and Matthew Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
