She was predeceased by: her parents, Albin Turza and Lottie Dixon; and her brother Mark. She is survived by: her husband Glenn Shipe; and her stepdaughters, Leanna, Merveldt (Jason), Morgan Shipe and Dorothy Whitfield (Rob). She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Laurie was one of my favorite people at the post office, even when she went into management, she was always kind hearted and understanding.
