He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Beatrice and William Jerry Lightsey; and his daughter Ronda Lightsey. He is survived by: his wife Sandra of Dunnellon, FL; his son Scott Lightsey (Kim) of Hamilton, GA; his grandchildren, Aaron Lightsey and Amanda Lightsey; his great grandchildren, Kaydence Lightsey, Brody Lightsey and Riley Long; his sister Pat Leaman of Phenix City, AL; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Medlock of Cataula, GA and Mike Hamner of Midland, GA; and his aunt Jackie Miller of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the services will be livestreamed on Striffler-Hamby at Parkhill Cemetery's Facebook page for those unable to attend.
