With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James H. Alvis Sr. of Dunnellon, Florida, who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William E Alvis and Mary Alvis (Crosby); his wife Wilma; his stepson Bert Blanton; and his siblings, Junior Alvis, Ashley Alvis and Lottie Blone.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Alvis, Jr. (Sharon), Brady Alvis (Teresa), Donna Rippley (Tom) and Cindy Walker (Deen); his stepdaughters, Terry Salter (Gordon) and Sherri Gallegos (Dean); his grandchildren, Deric, Mark, Jimmy of Kimberly, JR, Tiffany, Reece, Kendra, Garrett, Meghan, Renee and Arron; and also Irma Blanton. He is also survived by his six great grandchildren.
