He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia; his children, Michael Giertych, Roxanne Nesvig (Walt), Susan Rudnicki (Tad) and John Giertych (Nancy); his grandchildren, Travis Giertych, Tyler Giertych, Paul Attkisson, Mark Attkisson, Benjamin Rudnicki, Christina Borzobohaty, Naomi Giertych and A. J. Giertych; and his brother Alex Giertych. He was also cherished by 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
