He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Hechler and Mae Harriett McGuire; his wife Glenda Sue Warren; and his siblings, Merle, Ray, Oscar and Thelma.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Lynne Hicks (Mike) of Citrus Springs, FL and Melanie Lea Heckler (Don Ahrens) of Citrus Hills, FL; and his grandchildren, Charles Reed Counts (Katie) of Charleston, WV, Christopher Lee Counts of Red Oak, IA and Jessica Lynne Ray of Ocala. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many life-long and dear friends.
