He was predeceased by: his parents, John Freytag Sr. and Selma Freytag; and his wife Mary Lou. He is survived by: his children, John Freytag III of Dunedin, Brenda Freytag-Cook (Rick) of Alma and Karen Freytag of Oldsmar, FL; his brother Dennis Freytag (Maryanne Freytag) of Largo, FL; his siblings-in-law, David Britton (late Saralouise) and Clydora Fowler of Hermitage; his grandchildren, T. J. Cusatis (Amanda), Melissa Peterson (Richard), Katlin Cook, Daniel Cook, Anton Cook and Emily Freytag; and his great grandchildren, Kolton, Bentley and Isaac.
