He is survived by: his daughter Geraldine "Geri" Lee Meehan-Coppens (Joseph Charles Coppens Jr.); his stepson Kenneth Allen Roedell (Ingrid Roedell); his foster children, Jacquie Lee, Marlene Susie Van Zyl (Hendrik Jacobus), Christine Harper and Randy Harper (Phuong Le Harper); his grandchildren, Benjamin Olinga Roedell (Sumnima Shah), Arturo Quddus Roedell, Alicia Munirih Roedell, Kimberlee Suzanne, Aimee Elizabeth Gilbert (Robert Brian Gilbert), Elise Jayne, Madison Newton (Jacob Daniel Newton), Joanne Van Zyl, Mickinzy Van Zyl, Devin Le Harper and Dylan Le Harper; his great grandchildren, Suriyana Ishani RoedellShah, Suryan Nur RoedellShah, Asher James Sullivan, Everett Lee Sullivan, Cole Glenn Sullivan, Vincent Dillon Singh, Alexander Xavier Gonzalez, Theresa Nicole Gilbert and Jonah Ray Newton; his nieces and nephews, Billy Meehan, Barry Meehan, Linda Phillips and Carolyn Springborn; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by his family, friends.
