The passing of Caryl Lydia Lynch of Dunedin, Florida leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles T. Needham and Carolyn E. Needham (Boyle); her brothers, Bob Needham and Charles Thomas Needham (Chas); her son-in-law Dan O'Brien; her sister-in-law Rose Needham; her nephew Bobby Needham; and her friend Alice Price.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. James C. Lynch; her children, James C. Lynch, Jr. (Megan) of Hanover, Nancy Lynch (Alice), William Lynch (Jennifer) of Stow and Susan Lynch (O'Brien) of South Boston; her grandchildren, Katie, Mary Grace, Sarah, Allie, Kiersten, Joseph and Bridget; her brothers, Peter Barry Needham (Betty Ann) of Randolph and Paul Bruce Needham (Gayle) of San Dimas, CA.; her sisters-in-law, Rita Needham of Naples, FL and Marilyn Needham (Meg) of Duxbury; and her cousin Loretta Brady of Quincy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved neighbors.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the DeWare Funeral Home (576 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (44 School St, Quincy, MA 02169).
