Lilawatee Mangru Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lilawatee Mangru of Dundee, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Persaud Uzagir and Sukhni Federick; her husband Laikhram Mangru; and her brothers, Harrichand, Narine and Fedrick.
She is survived by: her children, Ranu Tilak (Kumar) of Lake Hamilton, Hema Singh (Kumar) of Dundee, Anil Mangru (Debra) of Yonkers and Sunil Mangru (Sandy); her grandchildren, Anthony, Steve, Dhanny, Gavin, Kamini, Bharti, Navin, Raj, Devi, Malena, Guytri, Kishan, Kareena, Ryan and Romila; her siblings, Meena (Sachit), Pirth (Vijay) and Soats (Shantie); and her sisters-in-law, Juliet, Sattie, Baby and Dro. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home (454 Buck Moore Rd, Lake Wales, FL 33853). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
