He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rufus and Cora Angeline Hunt Pugh; his wife Fay Pugh; and his son Jeffrey Dale Pugh. He is survived by: his daughters, Regina Hulverson of Dundee and Bridget Whitelock (Rick) of Beech Mountain; his brother Billy Gene Pugh of Alabama; his grandchildren, Britan Ethridge, Shea Malone-Boyd (Veon), Alyssa Whitelock and Trent Whitelock; and his great grandchildren, Camden and Naomi.
