It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Sturdivant in Dowling Park, Florida, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Jackson Sturdivant and Willie Mae Brazele Mooney; his wife Alta Louise Sturdivant; his son Kurk Sturdivant; and his siblings, Geneva Pettit, Thomas Sturdivant, Carlton Sturdivant, Joe Sturdivant, Stanley Sturdivant and Bill Sturdivant.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Nigh, Janet Bolen (Steve), Donna Smith (Steve) and Casey Sikes (Troy); and his brother Cecil Sturdivant. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
