He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Simmons and Erma Rogers Simmons; and his brothers, James A. Simmons and Charles F. Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Kay Martin Simmons; his sons, Patrick Simmons and Matthew Simmons (Cathy); his grandson Virgil Simmons; and his sister Louise Simmons McClelland. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
