It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Cross (Destin, Florida), born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Jesus; his parents, George Cross and Amy Cross; his uncle Earl; his aunt Geraldine; his former wife Reba; his son Jeffrey Benton Cross (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Shelby Anne, Cayley, Rafael (Verunica), Stephan (Katherine), Shea and Rhys; his great grandchildren, Tyrus, Malachi and Liam Quintin; his children, Carmen Peden (Marc), Daniel Socarras, Luis Socarras (Darla), Pawpaw, Elena, Marissa, Lilia Peden, Asher, Ethan and Tanner Socarras; his sister Francis (late Phillip); his son Charles Morton (Victoria); his grandchildren, Kyle and Luna Morton; his brother Bob (late Jan); his nephews, Paul and John (Veronica); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Natalie and Theo; and his son Ian (Michelle).

For those who knew him as Bill, Dad, Sweet William, Paw- Paw, Pa Pa Beel, Bear Catcher and Grumpy, a celebration of life service is temporarily delayed by the Corona virus pandemic restrictions, but will be planned for the future.

In lieu of flowers, any donations to Good Shepard Lutheran Church or The Balsam Community Center would be a treasured and greatly appreciated.
