He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rogers and Virginia Ingram; his wife Anna Azzurro Rodgers; his siblings, Donald Rogers, Charlotte Bagley and Brenda Carpenter; and his grandson Gary Hamilton.
He is survived by: his sister Deborah Tailleur of Miles City, MT; his brother-in-law Horace Carpenter of Shelbyville, TN; his children, Sue Latragna (Mike) of Lynchburg, VA, Gene of Enterprise, AL and Christopher Hill (Audrey) of Destin, FL; his grandchildren, Sherree Tolbert (Chris) of Defuniak Springs, FL, Amanda Bittinger (Reuben) of Kingsport, TN and Vanessa Lesnett (Michael) of Clearmont, FL; his great grandchildren, Camellia Prescott of Valparaiso, FL and Charlotte Lesnett of Clearmont, FL; and his great great grandchild Harper Hill of Destin, FL.. He is also survived by three children, received four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
