Robert Laurence Shearer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Laurence Shearer of Destin, Florida, born in Columbus, Kansas, who passed away on March 15, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence George Shearer and Barbara Ziona Shardelman Shearer; and his siblings, Roberta Olsen and Steven Shearer. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lee Shearer of Destin, Florida; his sons, Robert L. Shearer II (Susanne) of Sykesville and Jeffery Shearer of Woodbine, Maryland; his grandchildren, Terri Kimble (Kenny), Jessica Shearer and Robert L. Shearer III; his great grandchildren, Cayden and Jackson; and his sisters, Lorna Newton (Ben) and Lori Ames. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
