He is survived by: his wife Anne Spragins-Harmuth; his daughter Ursula Harmuth; and his granddaughter Carlotta Fabian of Berlin, Germany..

Any memorial donations in Dr. Harmuth's name should be made to The Blue Door Ministry at St. Andrews by the Sea Episcopal Church.
