It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Mack McAlpin of Destin, Florida, born in Mize, Mississippi, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawrence McAlpin and Ximena Williamson McAlpin; and his siblings, Clyde, Billy, Ellis, Charles McAlpin and Deline McAlpin Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Shivers McAlpin of Destin, Florida; his sons, Shawn McAlpin (Melissa) of Fulshear and Torrey McAlpin (Kristan) of Spring, Texas; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Madelyn, Ellie, Katelyn and Tanner McAlpin. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
