He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Keener and Hester Hedden Keener; and his siblings, Terry Dean Keener and Renee Gwen Treyvig. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Keener; his daughters, Brandy Highsmith (Omar Highsmith), Kalee Renee Keener and Paige Marion Keener; and his grandsons, Knight of Destin, FL. and Simeon Highsmith of Destin, FL..
