She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Bottomlee and June Bottomlee; her son Justin Cecil; and her sister Theresa "Susan" Bottomlee. She is survived by: her children, Jacob Cecil (Ashley Abercrombie) and Breanna Lucari (Mat); her brother Joe Bottomlee; her grandchildren, Rylee, Vinnie and Ocean; and her shih tzu sidekick Maddie Mae.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home (161 Racetrack Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Haven House Recovery Mission, 12381 US-98, Destin, FL 32550, a charity that Cathy felt dearly towards.
