Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Franklin (Destin, Florida), born in Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 82, on December 12, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Boone and Helen Boone; her husband Bill Franklin; and her children, Paula Seaton and Craig Simmons.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Simmons (Pat), John Franklin, Charmae Hillman (Phillip), Lisa Funk, Jennifer Arrington (Jason) and Julie Jowers (Kary); her sister Carolyn Saale; her grandchildren, Zack, Anthony, Kelly, Tucker, Lily, Emma, Luke, Tyler, Travis and Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Gracie and Braxton.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Betty's memory to the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion of Destin.
