He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Marler Sr. and Cleopatra Marler; and his siblings, Joy Hanshaw and Johnny O'Neal. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Athena Marler of Destin and Beth; his son-in-law Russell Fife of Destin; his grandchildren, Amber McLean (Sean), Rachel Richey (Zach), Nathan Fife, Christina Renkl (Alan) and Caroline Vincent (Cory); and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Isaac, Ava Noel, Caleb, Carmen, Rayland, Charolette and Lyric.
