She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert Bays and Katherine Bays; and her siblings, Robert Bays (Fran), Ruth Gibson (Thomas), Tony Bays (Evelyn) and John Bays.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Porter Thoman of Deland, FL.; and her children, Todd Thoman (Janice) of Smyrna, NY, Charles Thoman of Chapel Hill, NC, Pamela Talamo (Timothy) and Paula Danna (Louis) of Deltona, FL.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Susan K Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
