He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Cook and Cornelius Flack, Sr.; his son Edward D. Flack, Jr.; and his sisters, Mary Jones, Lavauda Ross (Brother Cornelius Flack Jr. Edward) and Marcella Morrison.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph Hunter, Lebar Flack, Ian Flack and Marie Makal; and his siblings, Sarah Flack (Leroy Flack) and Joseph Flack.
