She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Francisco Avila Delgado; and her daughter Martiza Avila (Baby Boy Avila). She is survived by: her children, Manuel Avila (Ginnie), Jenny Avila, Verdi Avila (Esthela), Grace Diaz (Mario), Myrna Avila-Musni (Anthony) and Edgar Avila (Janine). She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to The Alzheimer's Association, or the Arthritis Foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice.
