She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo Sidlin and Eva Sidlin; her husband Alvin Caplan; her children, Ilene Marcus (David Marcus), Scott Caplan (Karen Caplan) and Janis Gordon; her grandchildren, Abe Gordon, Eva Gordon, Ross (Hannah Gordon), Ali (Steve Chartan), Lee Marcus (Mariel Henkoff), Adam Caplan, Brandon Caplan, Kelsey Walden (Lee Benzel) and Natalie Walden; and her great grandchildren, Asher Gordon, Ansley Gordon, Reese Chartan, Jade Chartan and Ever Marcus.
