He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Abbott and Thelma Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Dorissa Martin (Adison), Joseph Abbott II and Jolie Kelly (Bruce); his grandchildren, Davis, Dustin, Dolan, Dayna, Karen and Preston; and his sister Wanda Wilkenson (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
