It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Venus Jakes of Deland, Florida, born in West Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, George Blilingslea, Nathaniel Billingslea, Dr Monroe Billingslea, Lelia M Billingslea and Merdice Billingslea Matthews; her nephew Horace; her niece Ann Baker; her parents, George Billingslea and Lellie M Billingslea; and her spouse Warcecer Jakes.
She is survived by: her son Michael Campbell; and her granddaughters, Alanah Campbell and Makaylah Campbell.
