He was predeceased by: his stepmother Ruby Cox; and his siblings, Charles Williams, Jajuan and Robin. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cox of Deland; his sons, Robert Cox, Jr. (Marcia) and Barry Cox; his stepchildren, Shira Turnbow, Pamela Cox, Tashia Cox and Lori Cox; and his siblings-in-law, Vivran (Clarence), Linda Cox, Earl and Lorenzo (Charlene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
