He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Kramer; his parents, Lily Holler and Clyde Simpson; and his sister Marie. He is survived by: his children, Richard H. Simpson (Kate), Dianne Patricia Tuohy (John), Karen Sue Tweedie (David), David Brian Simpson (Kathy) and Norma Kaye Bufford (Peter). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and dozens of nieces and nephews.
